RANGER explores the concept of home in extreme situations. Through a survival kit with graphic and functional elements, it reflects on the relationship between design, shelter and adaptation in contexts of uncertainty.

It is a portable kit that combines editorial, textile and object design to create basic livability solutions. RANGER’s visual identity is designed to convey a balance between technology and survival, combining a digital aesthetic with references to military tactical gear. The logo fuses two typographies: a sans serif, which brings clarity and modernity, and a pixelated one, evoking the graphic simplicity of the first digital systems, reinforcing the idea of a practical, efficient and functional kit.

Based on the minimum criteria of a home, the essential elements of this survival kit are defined. Comfort is represented by a blanket hidden in the double bottom of the case. RANGER includes a pack of wood chips and matches to provide warmth. Hygiene is ensured by a towel and a bar of soap. A map facilitates orientation and helps locate safe areas in the vicinity. A calendar allows you to keep track of time and organize activities. Safety and functionality are enhanced with a utility knife. Finally, the kit is completed with pocket photographs, a notepad and an air freshener, elements that provide identity and a sense of familiarity.
