IDENTITY + INTERFACE

Carabanchel is the district with the highest density of real estate agencies per square meter in Madrid. By constructing a utopia, the project visually represents a pressing issue affecting both past and present residents. Set in the year 2050, it envisions Carabanchel as an independent state completely dominated by real estate agencies. To bring this concept to life, a dual visual identity was developed: a corporate side, reflecting the new real estate state, and a rebellious side, symbolizing former residents fighting to reclaim their neighborhood.

Two Narratives, One Briefcase.
The project’s graphic elements were physically presented in a specially designed briefcase with a hidden compartment, one side containing official state materials like passports, IDs, and flags, while the concealed section held protest materials and workers’ uniforms. Additionally, an interactive Figma prototype digitized these printed materials, enhancing audience engagement during the project’s presentation. The duality of the briefcase reflects the tension aimed in the project, revealing how official narratives and resistance riots coexist yet remain deliberately separated, this strengthened both the clarity and impact of the narrative.
